Resin surfacing is less slippery than traditional concrete or tarmac and we can even apply extra anti-slip material in high risk areas. Because the surface material is porous the water runs through it and into the ground below so puddles get little chance to form. Because puddles disappear, they do not get a chance to freeze and therefore you have less chance of ice patches in the driveway. Of course if people have less chance of slipping so do cars. What makes it SuDS compliant ?
A SuDS compliant driveway offers an alternative to channelling water into the public drainage systems. The water should flow beneath the ground and follow the same route, almost as if there were no driveway surface there at all.
