The surface of the drive was old and damaged concrete which had no structural integrity and needed a full replacement. If you look at the concrete it has started to fragment and crack. In these instances it not possible to cover the existing driveway surface and it has to be excavated and new foundations created. The resulting structure will stand the test of time and retain its looks for years. Full UV protection will prevent the sun from bleaching the colour. It’s just not worth penny pinching
