The drainage and sheer amount of water running from the nearby land into our customers drive was beyond a joke. The entire area had to be re designed and water management considered before the top layer was installed. We worked out the amount and flow of the water at its worst and planned accordingly. Whilst it is hard to make any surface totally flood proof we planned to handle the water as best possible.

The existing driveway was very prone to flooding and this would sometimes even come into the property. The sheer volume a water made it a nightmare getting in and out of the property in winter. Mud would trail constantly into the house. This can be very frustrating and is not very hygienic. Careful planning can make the situation much more tolerable.
