This garden was well kept but the old paving was slippy and had to be constantly weeded. Our customer wanted a complete renovation including a new tarmac driveway to the front of the house.
We excavated the old paving and created a new base for the resin surfacing to sit on. We also created a false grass area to the side of the garage. This area wasn’t needed for anything other than appearance and no once ever stepped on it.
The foundations took some time but the base work was finally ready for the tarmac layer which is needed to support the resin surfacing.
We used a porous Tarmac which complements the porous resin surfacing. This will allow water to drain away under ground to follow the natural drainage pattern of the land.
The edge stones contain the resin surfacing and provide a solid edge for the resin to bind onto. Due to be finished in a few weeks once the Tarmac has oxidised.
